As a painter, I am influenced by everyday occurrences as well as by travels to many parts of the world. I fill my work with bright, saturated colors and big bold images of common everyday objects. These icons of domesticity, distorted and slightly askew, become metaphors for the ambivalence of relationships and the struggle for balance in unsteady lives, even as they celebrate life in all its richness and radiance.
